Localize folders in home directory in PCLOS Debian

If using JWM Desktop .. or maybe other desktop too, in PCLOS Debian seems to be had coded english folders. The solution is to edit /etc/xdg/user-dirs.defaults file and then run make-default-folders script.

pkexec env DISPLAY=$DISPLAY XAUTHORITY=$XAUTHORITY pluma

… open /etc/xdg/user-dirs.defaults file and edit how you want. An example Finnish settings.

# Default settings for user directories
#
# The values are relative pathnames from the home directory and
# will be translated on a per-path-element basis into the users locale
DESKTOP=Työpöytä
DOWNLOAD=Lataukset
TEMPLATES=Mallit
PUBLICSHARE=Julkinen
DOCUMENTS=Asiakirjat
MUSIC=Musiikki
PICTURES=Kuvat
VIDEOS=Videot
# Another alternative is:
#MUSIC=Documents/Music
#PICTURES=Documents/Pictures
#VIDEOS=Documents/Videos

… after editing run make-default-folders script, which contenst is

#!/bin/bash

mv $HOME/.config/user-dirs.dirs $HOME/.config/user-dirs.dirs.backup
sleep 1
