For Pixma you need to download drivers from Canon Europe.

Download MP280series_printer_driver.tar and Software/MP280series_scanner_driver.tar packages and extract them and install the drivers whose are compatible with your system using GDebi.

After installing, for scanner you need to add the next lines to the /lib/udev/rules.d/40-libsane.rules file.

For the scanner you need to edit Menu adding /usr/bin/scangearmp launcher for Scangearmp scanning program to the Graphic section.
